I found this thing in the track of the sliding glass door to my backyard this morning… I took this photo before I was able to finally coax him out into the yard with a piece of paper. I think these things are poisonous, and we found out this weekend that Samantha likes eating bugs, so I don’t want to take any chances.
Ew... centipede thing.

I think they are, too, Laura. Even an avid bug fan like myself probably would have squished it. Good for you for coaxing it outside. Usually, if I find one or a black widow or something, I kill it while apologizing. Like that matters to the bug, but it makes me feel better. My cat likes to play with bugs, too…and sometimes shove them into his toothless mouth…so you just have to be careful. “Sorry honey!” Smash!
