365-Day Project: Jan. 17, 18 and 19
o this is a monster post. Not only do I want to post up the photos for the three days, but I also have a few extras to put up.
On Jan. 17, I went to Red Rock Canyon with my mom and step-dad at about 6:30 a.m. The light was so much different then than it was even two hours later, when the sun was up in the sky. The light was a lot less harsh, and it really accented the colors. I didn’t do much color correction to these in Photoshop because it ruined the beautiful coloring.
Here’s some more photos from the trip.
On Jan. 18, after I was starting to feel like myself again, we went over to my friend Kerri’s house for dinner. Kerri and her sister, Robyn, have a Weimareiner named Iggy who is Pepper’s boyfriend. Here he is, Jan. 18′s photo.
Iggy was extremely hard to take photos of because he never stays still. Most of my photos of Iggy ended up being brown blurs of fur flashing across the screen.
Today’s photo. This is a bamboo plant on the counter. I’m playing with depth of field. I want to try to get better at it.

I wasn’t actually sleeping in that photo. I think you managed to get me blinking…
